The Library - Clarence Street: A useful place for local information, studying & reference books. You can become a member and borrow books for free, DVDs and videos for a charge. You just need to take along proof that you have a local address.

Cheltenham has lots of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs.
There are two theatres in the town centre The Everyman (Regent Street) and The Playhouse (Bath Road)

Useful shops if you're moving to Cheltenham
On the High Street you'll find everyday shops selling anything you may wish to buy - including two indoor shopping malls - Regent Arcade and Beechwood Shopping Centre

Woolworths - Household goods, including things like plates and saucepans
Wilkinsons - On the Lower High Street - lots of low-priced houshold goods and cleaning products
Housewives Choice - Fresh fruit and vegetables at a good price on the Lower High Street
There are also a couple of Asian food stores on the Lower High Street
Banks, building societies, and estate agents can all be found on the High Street.
The main Post Office is on the Lower High Street and there is also a smaller one in Montpellier Parade
